Bio & Creditials

Lyricist, Composer, Publisher, Fashion Designer, Graphic Designer and Owner of H.A.L.O Wear Productions

Damien Dix aka Daim Dizz Isreal grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. He started writing rhymes at 13 years old. What turned Daim into a hiphop junky is when his Uncle Chill use to come home from college with mixtapes from New York. The first song his Uncle played him was Audio Two " Top Billing" and Daim went absolutely crazy...asking his Uncle... what is this? This was a sound that was fresh and new to his ear drums and sent tingles in Daims brain. He knew that this is something he wanted to partake in. Daim was always into music because of his father, mother and uncle. His mom use to live above him in a 4 suite apartment well wasn't nothing sweet about it though besides the love that was contained there. Daim was raised by his Grandmother they lived in the apartment under his mom.  Every weekend Daim would wake up to the sounds of Pink Floyd, Doobie Brothers, Sly and the Family Stone, Parliament, Kenny G, Thelonious Monk, Earth, Wind and Fire just to name a few. Every Saturday morning his mom would clean and have the window open blasting those Vinyls. Some of the time his Uncles band would be practicing downstairs in the basement playing Cameo and sometime Daim would wake up to the sounds of "Single Life" or "Candy".

As the years passed Daim came up with a company called Holla At Me Productions with his partner Shawn Hart aka Lord Phynrir. Daim and Phynrir also were a rap duo called The Lost Tribe but, had to put the name to rest because a rap duo out of Houston had the name copy written already. Unfortunately they also laid the company to rest after a separation took place between the two friends. Daim met Ervin Hill 5 years later at a factory him and Daim were both working at. Daim was already working on forming another company called H.A.L.O (Hurdling All Life's Obstacles) at the time. Horn joined the family and they formed a group called KIN4OLK  which attracted world wide attention in the underground market. Their first release By Spirit Not By Blood was noticed by few record companies. All the contracts were 360 deals and KIN4OLK did not want to do that and they didn't. They tore up both contracts one was from Atlantic and the other one was from Columbia. Daim and Horn decided not to walk that wide road that everyone else does.  They prefer to stay independent because of all the shucking and jiving that's going on today in the Industry.  Daim Dizz has rocked out with legends such as Craig G, Thirstin Howl The 3rd and Rapping 4tay on The Dumb Up Cypher series with Coast2Coast. As of today H.A.L.O has over 2.8 million views with over 1.5 million plays on www.numberonemusic.com/daimdizz and www.numberonemusic.com/KIN4OLK. Daim's recent release The Ill Gospel 2  started out with 20 listeners in May of 2021 now Daim has over 20,000 and over 177,000 plus streams and counting. Not to bad for a Independent company out of Cleveland.

BIO & CREDENTIALS

Marquese L. Williams ll also known as Reign was born March 25th 1979. He died that day and was given a second chance at life. His mother was young and resilient and she used her only son as a muse that inspired her career path in becoming a teacher.

Living in Cleveland was adventurous and at times detrimental. Throughout life the love of music kept him going. From walkmans, portable CD players to MP3 players Reign always had music in his ears. His mother used to write poetry so it's only right that he uses the same lines on the paper to express himself. In his mind he is more than an emcee or rapper. He considered himself to be an artist. Reign lived in various areas of the city dubbed The Land. When he stayed on 144th and St. Clair he was given the name Lil Cee from his mother's friends son Rob who introduced him to hip hop.

That was the late 80's. Rob used to rhyme all the time and Reign was all ears. It wasn't long before his mom moved him to the South side of the city and hip hop came along for the ride. Its the 90's now and hip has grown more diverse and so did Reign. East Coast West Coast Down South and  Mid West had him in a trance with the sounds they were pumping out of the speakers. He hadn't found himself yet but the search was on. In highschool he'd be in the lunchroom trading bars with all the other rhyme spitters and he got some love from and it made him want it more.

Years after Highschool he co-founded the group Lost Souls with 2 childhood friends. They recorded a lot of music and performed around the city and out of state. While performing he met a group named KIN4OLK who represents H.A.L.O. over the years they became good friends and Reign joined the label. While the other members of Lost Souls did their own thing respectfully he chose to do the same. Now we're in the 2k 20's and 3rd Degree is born. Daim Dizz Isreal, Lord Phynrir and Reign band together to keep the Cleveland hip hop seen alive.
